We'll feature fellows from our Tow-Knight Entrepreneurial Journalism program.
The 18 presenters come from 12 countries and have been developing their startup projects for the past 15 weeks. In our Tow-Knight program, fellows study new business models for news, sharpen their entrepreneurial skills and explore media innovation in NYC.

Doors Open 5:30pm (Arrival and settling in, networking)
Presentations 6:00pm - 9:00pm (18 demos, 4-minutes each, plus q&a)

This year's startups include:
• Journalists from 12 countries, our most int'l group ever.
• A digital community for young Muslim travelers.
• A platform for publishers to share news with a geographic community.
• A service that gathers news and analysis from Zimbabwean women.
• A multimedia journalist inspired by New York's grandmothers.
• The former editor-in-chief of the Sydney Morning Herald
• The first woman to be top editor of a national Venezuelan newspaper.
• The first data-driven news agency in Brazil, reporting on human rights,social development, economic issues and technology.
... and more terrific media entrepreneurs.

Please note: this will be a longer event than our usual demo nights. We'll keep the pace quick, with each presentation clocking in at four minutes to accommodate the 18 startups presenting!
