Playtesting is often treated as a reactive, last-minute activity - yet done right, it becomes one of the most powerful tools for reducing production risk. This session shows how to transform playtesting into a clear, structured roadmap that guides development from concept to release.
You’ll learn how to identify the highest-risk assumptions, prioritise the playtests that matter most, and schedule them at the moments they deliver maximum impact. We’ll introduce a simple, practical framework you can adapt to any team, scope, or genre-helping you protect budget, timeline, and team wellbeing while building confidence in your decisions.
