"Welcome to Sanam Luang Running Meetup Group!"
First things first: We don’t really run. Despite the name, you won’t find us chasing personal bests or training for marathons. Instead, we chase sunsets, hidden city gems, and the best camping spots in Thailand!
We are a group of city dwellers who love to move, but at a 'relaxing' pace. If you enjoy discovering the world on foot, on a bike, or from inside a tent, you’re in the right place.
What we actually do:
- City Walks: Exploring Bangkok’s historic alleys and street food (at a walking pace!).
- Camping & National Parks: Escaping to the wild for a night under the stars.
- Nature Trails: Light trekking to waterfalls and scenic viewpoints.
- Slow Cycling: Exploring the green lungs of the city and beyond.

This trip is perfect for anyone who loves nature, fresh air, and a slow, peaceful lifestyle.

- Guest replacement = 100% refund
- Cancellation before 10 days (event day) = 100% refund
- Cancellation after 10 days (event day) = No refund

- National park not allow to drink alcohol
- Can smoke only in smoking area.
- We sleep in tent
- Shared bathroom, toilet. Separate male and female.

Established in 1962, Khao Yai National Park is Thailand’s first national park and one of the most famous natural reserves in Southeast Asia. Covering an area of over 2,168 square kilometers, it spans across four provinces: Nakhon Ratchasima, Saraburi, Prachinburi, and Nakhon Nayok.
🌳 A UNESCO World Heritage Site
In 2005, Khao Yai became part of the Dong Phayayen–Khao Yai Forest Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its rich biodiversity and ecological importance.
🐘 Home to Diverse Wildlife
Khao Yai is home to over 3,000 plant species, 320 bird species, and 70 mammal species, including wild elephants, gibbons, hornbills, and even tigers. It is one of the best places in Thailand for wildlife spotting and eco-tourism.
