This will be combined with the Hillsborough County Hiking Spree Kick-Off Celebration at Lettuce Lake Park from 9am-1 pm.

The first Saturday each month except July, August and December.
Come discover the beauty of native plants on a guided walk with a representative of the Suncoast Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society. The two-hour walk will start behind the Joel E Jackson Nature Center in the Native Plant Garden. After a short presentation, we will walk the boardwalk and trails to see what grows naturally in the park and learn how native plants benefit us and wildlife.
**Children** are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
**Dogs** are allowed in the park but NOT on the boardwalk.

Visitors will sign a county waiver. The walk will be outdoors on maintained paved or dirt trails.

Walks are FREE, but there is a $2 entrance fee per vehicle (cash only) to get into the park.
