Looking to meet new people, have interesting conversations and spend a relaxed evening in an international atmosphere?

Join us for a friendly English Conversation Night where people from different backgrounds come together to meet, talk and enjoy a social evening in Ankara.

This is not an English class or a formal networking event. There are no presentations or formal networking activities. The idea is simple: meet new people, speak English naturally and enjoy good conversations.

Whether you’re a local, an international student, an expat or a traveller, everyone is welcome.

How the evening will look

🕡 18:30 – Arrival & introductions
💬 18:45 – Conversation in small groups
🔄 19:30 – Change groups & meet new people
🗣️20:00 – Free conversation & socialising

We use small groups so everyone has a chance to participate and speak. You don’t need perfect English. Different levels are welcome, and everyone is encouraged to participate at their own pace.

Participation

250 TL per person

Your participation fee includes:

• 2 cups of tea
• Complimentary snacks

Additional food and drinks from the Raf 9 menu are available throughout the evening and can be ordered separately. Menu orders are not included in the participation fee.

The number of participants is limited to keep the groups comfortable and make it easier for everyone to meet and talk.

Limited to 12 participants.

### Games, Challenges & Conversations

Speaking English doesn't always have to mean sitting around a table answering the same questions.
Welcome to English Social Club — a weekday social night built around games, challenges, interesting questions and meeting new people.

Every week we bring different activities to the table, so no two Social Club nights have to be exactly the same.
You might find yourself solving a survival challenge with strangers, defending an impossible choice, guessing someone's story, playing a conversation game or trying to convince your group that your terrible idea is actually brilliant.
The only catch?
We do it all in English.
This is not an English class. There are no teachers, lessons or presentations.
It's simply a fun way to use English while meeting new people.

## How the evening works

19:00 – Meet & mingle
Meet the group and get to know the people you'll be spending the evening with.
19:15 – Icebreaker game
We start with a simple social game to get everyone talking.
19:40 – Weekly Challenge
This part changes from event to event.
It could be:

• A survival scenario
• Impossible choices
• Team challenges
• Mini debates
• Guessing games
• Story games
• Social experiments
• Creative group challenges

You won't know exactly what you're getting until you arrive.
20:20 – Mix & meet
Groups change so you get the chance to meet and talk with different people.
20:35 – Open conversation
Finish the evening with relaxed conversation and socialising.
21:00 – End of the event

## Participation

300 TL per person

## How the evening works

18:30 – Arrival & introductions
Start the evening by meeting the group and getting comfortable.
18:45 – Small-group conversations
We divide into small groups with conversation topics and questions designed to get everyone talking.
19:00 – Group rotation
Time to switch groups, meet new people and start fresh conversations.
20:00 – Open conversation & socialising
A more relaxed part of the evening to continue conversations, join another table or simply enjoy the atmosphere.
🕘 21:00 – End of the event
The organised event and included service end at 21:00.

Your participation includes:

• Complimentary snacks
• Conversation cards & activities
• Organised group rotations

Additional food and drinks from the Raf 9 menu can be ordered separately throughout the event.
After 21:00, guests who would like to stay may continue ordering from the regular Raf 9 menu, subject to table availability.

We intentionally keep the group small so everyone gets a chance to speak, participate and meet different people.
