Detaylar

This is a brand new scenic walk from The Polecat Inn in Prestwood. Our route is largely a 'forest bathing' one which takes us across the footpath and past Hughenden Chase, through Acrehill Wood and through Hampden Coppice on the way to the tiny settlement of Great Hampden, before returning via Nanfan Wood, Stoney Green, across Meadsgarden Wood and through Lawrence Grove Wood. Distance approx. 6.75 miles. Walking time approx 2.5 to 3 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there is the option of staying for a drink, snacks and a chat at The Polecat Inn. if you wish to book a table for lunch please do so directly with The Polecat via their website (click here) - I'd suggest no earlier than 2pm.

Free Parking
The Polecat Inn are happy for us to park there. They have a large car park and you won't need to register your car number plate at the bar.
