This group is for anyone interested in modern tabletop board games and card games. We normally play at the Ludoquist board game café in central Croydon, South London.
We play games like Codenames, Wingspan, Terraforming MARS, Settlers of Catan, Everdell, Azul, Gaia Project, Eclipse, Clans of Caledonia, Viticulture, Brass, Avalon, Century Spice, Architects of the Western Kingdom, 7 Wonders, Istanbul.

Monday games (beginner friendly)
Ludoquist - Board Game Café, 63-67 High St, Croydon , GBCome and play board games! Join us for tabletop board and card games such as Just One, Colt Express, Saboteur, Potion Explosion and Wingspan.
Monday nights are aimed at welcoming players who are new to modern board games. We always try to make sure that someone is happy to teach games and welcome new people on the night, so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with.
We don't charge a fee for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the venue's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP Ludoquist membership).
Please arrive by 18:50 in time for everyone to get into groups for the main games to start at 19:00.
We will start arriving from 18:30 if anyone wants to join early for short games and chat.
All attendees are expected to read and follow our Code of Conduct and our Meetup Rules.
Please remember to update your RSVP promptly if you can't make it and please don't attend unless you are confirmed as attending.

Thursday nights are aimed at those with some experience of modern boardgames, and we tend to play more complicated games - anyone who is completely new, or mainly interested in olaying lighter games, should try to come on Mondays. We always try to make sure that someone is happy to teach the games and welcome new people on the night, so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with.
