Hello Tampa Bay! A little bit about me. My name is John Desautels, and I am a veteran of the Real Estate industry with 35 years of experience. I majored in real estate in college and have spent my career in multiple roles in this industry. I have worked in real estate publishing, appraisal, mortgage lending, a long tenure as the president of a mortgage institution, and decades in real estate sales, including many complex international transactions. Our company has worked with numerous vacation-2nd home, waterfront, relocation, and retired buyers. I am still an active broker but enjoy coaching, mentoring, and writing real estate-related articles in my spare time. I thoroughly enjoy working with potential sellers moving abroad as nomads and or expats. I also love working with 2nd retiree relocation buyers on educating them from start to finish on successfully buying a Florida home. I am creating this Meetup to find others living or dreaming of a life here and abroad. I also meet via Zoom to encourage you to join and learn the many dynamics of our market. I will do my best to provide current real estate event topics and answer any questions you might have.
