Polkadot Istanbul Meetup

Polkadot is a global network of blockchains and the foundation for a new, peer-to-peer internet. The platform addresses blockchain governance, interoperability, developability, and scalability issues. The best way to start building for Polkadot today is to build your blockchain with the Substrate development framework. Blockchains built with Substrate can easily be deployed on Polkadot when the network goes live later this year.

In this meetup we will introduce Polkadot and Substrate and discuss the vision for decentralized serverless Internet where users have better control of their own privacy, their own identity, their own financial accounts, and their own destiny. Leveraging P2P networks and using trustless incentivization through cryptoeconomic design, we can reclaim the Internet from the ones that dominate it today.
