The meetup focuses on how leadership within organisations also needs to be "lean-agile" in order to respond to the accelerating pace of change we find ourselves in. When we talk about leadership we also mean "acts of leadership" - and these can happen at the personal, team, program and "senior management" level. We´ll look specifically at three different types of leadership styles (expert, achiever and catalyst), and how these map to the organisations we are in and leadership challenges we face. We will also look at how crisis (e.g. our current corona crisis) carries the risk of encouraging people and organisations revert back to a more command and control style. This is a remote session, but we will value your input, questions and interaction.

Stuart is an enterprise coach (CEC, Scrum Alliance) and trainer with over 20 years experience focusing on supporting personal and organisational growth. Stuart has been been in the CEO role for an digital service company in Finland, CEO of a small start-up in Jackson Hole, USA, and has been "deep in the trenches" helping organisations deliver value, filling roles as team coach, organisational coach, product owner, business owner and subject matter expert. In terms of "ownership", his time as start-up CEO and founder, spending his own money, helped him learn very quickly (the hard way) what is means to maximise value outcome and deliver true MVPS. Stuart´s rich personal Lean-Agile experience has shaped his coaching and training Lean-Agile mindset, and this enables him to help customers make the connection between theory and practice - with reaching their own goals as the focus. As a certified Leadership Agility coach, Stuart also places a focus upon coaching Leaders - as leaders "lead the change". Stuart is a: Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC, Scrum Alliance), Certified Systemic Business Coach (DVCT), Certified Leadership Agility Coach (Changewise), SAFe Program Consultant 5 (SPC, since 2013), SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager, and, like most external coaches, a whole bunch of other certifications and merit badges…:)
