MOTIVATION
The session is dynamically scheduled to help SoftwareHub Ankara members onward GNU/Linux platform.

The joy of Linux is the freedom that comes with exploring a high quality technology infrastructure.

Once you have decided to explore a GNU/Linux distribution, the first step is INSTALLATION.

There are many ways to perform installation, however there are three points that will always affect your overall installation experience irrespective of which Linux distro you use.

FOCUS
Three points that affect your installation in significant ways

• partition
• file system hierarchy
• disk extension

We will showcase the affect of choice(s) made using Arch Linux and Debian Linux. Folks are welcome to explore OpenSUSE or Gentoo linux as well.

We donot recommend using ubuntu or other windoze or macunaOS like clones.

You are welcome to bring in a live system, VM where you seek to install GNU/Linux.

Your active participation is solicited and appreciated during the session.

ONLINE
We use JITSI which has Audio, Video and Chat integrated in a single interface. Since JITSI is free software based service and has open interface, it is easily accessed using Browser or as a Android app.
