Meet and socialize with local professional and aspiring video game developers to talk about game development, design, and the game industry. Programmers, artists, designers, and anyone else interested in game development are invited to join. Let's show the world that Ohio is the next hot spot for the video game industry!
Anyone is welcome to show up at a our meetings. From hobbyists and students who want to learn more about the best way to get into the game developments industry to professionals who want to talk about the newest tech and share their experiences.

COGG Holiday Party, In-Person at GameArena!!!
Game Arena, 1556 N High St, Columbus, OH, USThis special holiday event will be AT GAMEARENA near the Gateway!!! Come with games if you like but also come just to chill and relax with new and old friends before we end the 2025 year. Snacks will be provided and working to get holiday drinks like last year if you would like partake more at the bar. Play game at the main venue or other games COGG members bring!

Attendees:
Don't have a game to show? Not a problem! All are welcomed and invited from all ages and backgrounds. The more we can have to play test our games the better!
Developers:
Do you have a game that you would like to get critical feedback on? Would you like an excuse to work on a game with other talented artists, programmers, musicians, designers, and writers? Digital, table-top, non-experienced developers, and the like are welcomed! We'll provide signage for your game to help others learn more about your work. Wifi, outlets, tables, and seats (though standing tables also) are available.
Come to the Prototype and Play workshop to collaborate and meet local game developers for an evening of epic and raw game play fun! Play works-in-progress, show off your own game, work with others to add polish to a game, or even lend your talents to other fellow developers. For this event, light snacks from the bar and water will be provided!

This event will be online and remote via our Discord channel as we blend our Online and In-Person events. If we plan to host in person via a venue, we'll update this event before it starts. Usually by the end of the prior month. We'll evaluate month to month so stay tuned!
On the last Saturday of the month, we're having our usual end-of-the-month social gathering with our GameDev Meetup meeting. There will be announcements and presentations on our YouTube followed by some social networking in the Discord General voice channel. Let's continue the year with good vibes and friends.
