Welcome to the Dubai Community of Curious Minds!
It can be easy to get so caught up in daily life that we forget to stop and think about our world and merely live like zombie's autopilot mode - work/eat/sleep and repeat so By Discussing philosophical questions we can spark deep critical thinking.
We engage in asking, answering, and discussing questions and ideas to stimulate critical thinking and broaden our perspectives with new concepts and thoughts. The primary goal of this group is to enrich ourselves with the perspectives of others, rather than persuading others about our own viewpoints. Our meetups focus on personal philosophies of life, not necessarily the teachings of great philosophers or academics. It is not a debating club or a platform for advocating beliefs. Instead, we prioritize questioning, open-mindedness, and challenging our own assumptions while respecting the viewpoints shared by others.
Philosophical discussions typically involve human nature, the origins of the universe, our existence, morality, ethics, and the afterlife, trans humanism, life extension, artificial intelligence, existentialism.
