Welcome to Melanin on the Coast — a community created for Black folks living in or around Monterey County who want to connect, grow, and thrive together. 🌊✨

We’re only about 3% of the population here, but our presence is powerful — and we’re building a space to make sure we stay connected, visible, and supported. This group is all about wellness, friendship, and joy — we’ll get together for:
• 🥾 Health walks and hikes
• 🍽️ Group brunches and dinners
• 🐕 Dog walks and outdoor hangouts
• 🏋🏾‍♀️ Workout sessions and wellness meetups
• 🎉 Game nights, culture nights, and more

Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time local, this is a safe and welcoming space to meet genuine people, laugh, move your body, and build community.
