Adventure Junkie Hiking

This is a Friday night hike.

We will be hiking 6 to 7 miles approximately and finishing just before dark.
This will be a fast pace, hike, approximately 3 miles an hour.

We will most likely hike through the Crows Nest and into French Creek State Park do the loop around buzzard, or the loop around Hopewell Lake and then head back to the Crows Nest.

This is mostly flat terrain. There may be one or two slight hills along the route.

Rain cancels.

Meet at Pike creek bible church. Car pool to Pa! White clay state Park! Hike of 10 miles! Hills ad flats! Dogs ok if another driver will shuttle them!

$420. This is for staying there only.

Awesome place in keene great view on many acres . 2 full bath .

Day 1 hike SAT - high peaks hike to included Algonquin , wright , Iroquois etc . must start super early to get parking and ensure we finish timely .

Day 2 hike- beckhorn - hunters pass area - depend depends how much we got left in the tank- I might wanna try the Hunter pass slide, although you can avoid this and I won’t be offended  .

Day 3 . TBD . This day depends. I’m sort of using this as a back up in case there’s rain one day but if we get all the hiking in might check out Lake Placid before heading home .

I would expect that we would all together go out to eat on Saturday and Sunday .in evening .



Not for beginners as we will be hiking at a good pace to do 6.5 miles in 2 hours with a couple breaks to hydrate. Will get 1300+ ft elevation along Mt Joy and Mt Misery. Trails are dirt with rocks and tree roots.

Dogs are welcome on a leash. Light rain, we hike. Heavy rain, we’ll see.
