OK. I went to it from a Facebook account that is not a member of the group and I can get to the page I posted. In the upper right corner I see a "Ask to Join Group" button.
If you can't even see that then the only thing I can say is make sure you are logged into your Facebook account. If you have done that and still can't see the page then I'm not sure what to do. It is an open group so you should be able to see it from your FaceBook account.

Dear Twisted Stitchers,
It's that time of the year when Meetup dues are to be paid, and we are far, far short of the $72.00 needed. So I am evaluating the interest this group has in the Meetup site. I've tried to make the site attractive, but still so few members visit the site that I can count them on one hand.
The reason that I wanted to continue the Meetup site is that we do attract new members to the group. Some months there are as many as six people interested in the group. However, you can see that the number of those interested in the group exceeds the number who actually show up.
I suspect that these newcomers do not attend because there is little traffic on the website. Would you attend a meeting where only one person has acknowledged they're coming?.
Six months ago I sent out an email stating that anyone who has not visited the web site in at least six months would be removed. In doing so, I have decreased the membership by half. If each of those members paid one dollar, our dues would be covered. However, once again, with so little interest in using the Meetup site, I think that we should close the site.
If you have feelings one way or the other, please email me ASAP. This is your group---how do you want it to be run?
