Hi everyone,
Just in case you hadn't noticed there are a couple of Swedish related TV programs coming up very soon, so I thought that I would send you the details in case you fancies watching?
The first programme is on Sunday 2nd February at 20:00 on Channel 4 and is called Scandimania. This is the first episode of the Scandinavian "foodie" series and features the TV chef and restaurant owner Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. He visits Sweden and amongst other things, meets up with a member of ABBA and goes hunting in the forest ... well worth a watch!!
The other program is The Restaurant Man hosted by the restaurant owner and expert, Russell Norman. It is a series following people who set up their own restaurant for the first time. The episode on Wednesday 22nd February at 20:00 on BBC2 features The Salt Bar in Macclesfield, the Scandinavian restaurant bar where we have hosted two successful events so far. It follows Debbie the owner and her team from the very beginning right the way through to the opening of the venue to the public. I saw the first program in the series this week and it was really interesting!
Hope you enjoy some Scandinavian related viewing!?
See you soon,
David
