3/23 Deadline: Flatiron School Summer Teaching Fellowship ($5-9K stipend)

From: Hillary
Sent on: Tuesday, March 17, 2015, 7:02 PM

Hi NYEdTech community,

Looking for a paid summer opportunity to make an impact through coding?

The Flatiron School is seeking Summer Teaching Fellows to instruct our Pre-College Summer Academy for high school students who want to learn to code in NYC and other major cities. Through this paid fellowship, you’ll teach students app development and web design for 4-8 weeks, and be part of an incredible team at a fast-growing NYC start-up. Fellows will receive professional development in coding and teaching, and provide a transformative experience for students! $5,000-$9,000 stipend provided. Coding experience preferred but not required—if you know how to teach, we’ll teach you to code.

You can check out the job description and application here: Flatiron School Summer Teaching Fellows Application. Our priority deadline is coming up on March 23rd, and our final deadline is March 30th. I hope you’ll consider applying, and encourage you to forward the announcement below to your networks who may be interested. Let me know if you have any questions about this fellowship!
