What we're about

Free office hours for programming help - any programming language, all skill levels. The format is super simple: you come with a laptop, sit, hang out, and code, and flag down one of the organizers if you have a question. That's it! If we can't answer your question, we'll find you someone who can, or at least point you in the right direction. More experienced folks are also welcome as mentors.

By becoming a member, you agree to abide by and uphold our policies (https://hackerhours.org/policies.html). Also, check out the homepage for Resources, Tutors, etc.

Virtual Thursday Hacker Hours

Online event

Free office hours for coding help—any programming language, all levels of experience. Attend with a learning objective (a project you're building or something specific you want to learn) and work virtually alongside others.

If you have a question, our attendees will do our best to answer, or point you in the right direction. Reminder: we are here to help and any expectations that your question will be answered are not guaranteed.

We will be experimenting with a Slack first format - see details below.

Free office hours for coding help—any programming language, all levels of experience. The format is super simple: you attend with a thing you want to learn or a project to build, and work (virtually) alongside others doing the same. If you have a question, we will do our best to answer, or at least point you in the right direction. More experienced folks are also welcome - we always need help mentoring!

How this will work: We'll primarily meet through Slack (chat), but will create Google Hangouts for focused discussions/troubleshooting.
