Hi SD Tech Coffee,

I'm helping co-organize an event called Geeks ��� Sand on Nov 2nd in Downtown SD. It is a collaboration between Baxley Studios and SandCHI.
The event will be a mixture of networking, drinks, food, a DJ, and presentations by local SD startups related to user experience and design issues.

It is the last part I could use your assistance with (finding presenters).

• Do you run a startup?
• Have you experienced any issues with how to design your products correctly?
• Have you learned the hard way how not to design a product?
• Have you received feedback from your customers about how your product is designed?
• Any lessons you learned that others couldn't benefit from not doing themselves?

If you answered yes to several of the questions above, please consider joining our presenters for the event.

Format:

• 20 x 20 (similar to Ignite and PechaKucha)
• You get 20 slides at 20 seconds apiece which advance automatically. That's 6.67 minutes.
• You can put whatever you want on the slides, but it needs to relate to your startup, products and any design lessons learned.
• The format is challenging to speak to, but also quite fun, both for the presenter and the audience.
• It's a great chance to raise awareness about your startup and your products to the local tech scene.
