Melbourne AWS User Group Monthly Meetup

Our regular monthly meetup (on the last Wednesday of every month).

Arrive at 6:00pm for a 6:15pm start.

This month is the month of ChatBots!!!

Elliot from GorillaStack will be presenting this month on a boilerplate serverless hipchat bot repository.

"We used the serverless framework to create a hipchat bot that you can deploy in 3 minutes. We have an example of this repository in action, where we report on a 1:n cloudwatch alarms in different SNS topics, direct to the hipchat glance - for realtime status on your applications! "

For the second presentation our own Chris Coombs will be presenting on a chat bot for AWS.

"(for Ops, sort of), thought it might be of interest to the group. It's built on CloudFormation, Kinesis, KMS, DynamoDB, natural language processing, etc. in addition to the usual API Gateway/Lambda."

This month Rob Amos will be hosting as I'll be away in Canberra doing a client 'install' in a secure data centre.
(I say 'install' because I'm literally not allowed to touch anything because I don't have the right security clearances...What could possibly go wrong)
