DSAi is back with another meet up partnering with UNSW Founders.
Agents are everywhere right now! This month, DSAI is going hands-on with two of the more interesting open-source runtimes in the space: OpenClaw and Hermes.
With presentations from the DSAi team as well as:
- René Essomba (AI Engineer and Co-Host of "What the Tech" podcast
- and other speakers (TBA)
As usual with our meetups, this event will also include:
- AI tech, market and regulation updates by the DSAi team
- NETWORKING - network with fellow AI entrepreneurs, investors and professionals.
Investors, venture capital and talent folks are also invited to this event (and scout for promising AI startups).

Rene Essomba is a Sydney-based AI Engineer and co-host of the What The Tech podcast — where they unpack AI and emerging tech for general audiences.
His engineering work centres on agentic AI systems: building production workflows with LangGraph and MCP servers on AWS, alongside modern data tooling like dbt and Supabase. With a background spanning actuarial science, data science and cloud architecture, he's especially interested in how teams move agentic systems from prototype to production responsibly.Address: Michael Crouch Innovation Centre, UNSW Kensington Sydney NSW 2052 (take the L3 light rail)
