Scala Meetup @ William Hill Labs

William Hill will host the London Scala Meetup on Tuesday 2nd February from 18:30, though people are welcome to arrive from 18:00.

We will count with the attendance of Jamie Allen from Typesafe. In his talk, "Effective Akka, v2.0", he will discuss of common architectures and themes for building well-structured, actor-based applications.

William Hill will be presenting the Omnia platform, our distributed and reactive data platform, built on top of Akka Cluster, Spark and Cassandra, following the principles of the Reactive Manifesto.

Beer, soft drinks and Pizza will be kindly supplied by William Hill.
