Dear New York Giants Fans Unite San Francisco,

The season is finally upon us.  Though we kickoff the season on a not so traditional night (Wednesday, September 5th) we hope to see all of you back in lower knob cheering on the New York Football Giants at Aces (Sutter & Hyde).

The group has grown significantly as a direct result of the Giants amazing super bowl run last season (317 members).  We know it got straight up crazy during the playoffs and as a result we want to address a few things.

• We hope to see everyone back at the bar each week during the season. In an effort to help us prepare each Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday please be sure to click the link at the bottom of each weekly email to RSVP.  We know plans change and you’re never 100% sure you’re going to make it but if there is any chance you might attend, please let us know by clicking the RSVP link each week. • Big games mean big crowds. Please get to the bar early to avoid any issues. I know it’s not always easy but it’s a first come first serve situation.
• Please don’t reply all to the weekly emails.  No one needs to have their inbox blown up by a meetup group. Any suggestions, questions, comments, requests and dedications can be sent to me directly or posted on our social media sites. 
• We have a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/NYGiantsFansUniteSanFrancisco), a twitter account (@NYGiantsFansSF) and discussion board ( http://www.meetup.com/NYGiantsfansuniteSF/messages/boards/ ) so that you can post thoughts, concerns, insight and questions to the group (FYI, our Facebook page feeds into Twitter). The Facebook page has a several contributors who update it with various articles and insight about the New York Football Giants to keep our group up-to-date with the latest news about the GMEN. We'll also be commenting during the game like we did last year. 

Halftime BBQ:

Most games the bar has a free halftime BBQ that the bar owner provides as a perk for coming down to Aces to watch the games.  Everyone involved in the preparation and cooking of the food is volunteering. Please take care of them by over filling the tip jar put out for them.

Week Six Trip to the Stick:

Last year’s week 8 trip was a huge success. We're already starting to receive A LOT of inquires about this seasons Week 6 trip on Sunday, October 14th.  Due to the ridiculous demand of this trip, in order to guarantee a spot on the bus(s) you must deliver cash in hand to Tommy at the bar. Details for the trip will be sent out in a couple of days.

PAYMENT IS ONLY FOR THE BUS AND TAILGATE.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN GAME TICKET(S).

As a result of the 49ner's amazing 2011 season, they have completely sold out of season tickets for this season and subsequently they're NOT offering group ticket sales for the Giants game.  Please continue use our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/NYGiantsFansUniteSanFrancisco) or the meetup message board (http://www.meetup.com/NYGiantsfansuniteSF/messages/boards/) to discuss where everyone is sitting for the game.

Our week one email will be going out after the Giants announce their 53-man roster.  22 good men will be asked to leave and 7 will be asked to join their practice squad.  Check our facebook page for updates throughout the holiday weekend.
