BIO

Andres L. Martinez-Ortiz a.k.a Almo is Developer Program Manager in Google's Engineering organisation. He is focused on driving the success of Google's developer products and the open web by creating a thriving ecosystem of 3rd party applications and businesses built on them. Closely with Product Management, Marketing, PR, Business Development, and other, he works with and supports developer communities, initiating activities that meet the needs of the innovation ecosystem. In addition, he meets with developers and partners in large companies, startups, universities and enterprises, promoting Open standards and Google technologies.

TALK: Google Firebase: developing Android & iOS mobile apps

During the presentation, almo will introduce the tools and architecture necessary for Android & iOS app development using the Firebase Realtime Database, OpenID Connect w. the Google Identity Toolkit and a Go backend in AppEngine.

Salvador de la Puente González (Mozilla)

BIO

Salvador de la Puente González (Salva) is Software Engineer at Mozilla. Salva is currently working as Web Developer in the Web Application Developer Initiative (WADI), initiative whose goals are to propel the development of Web Applications through the use and teaching of the most modern Web technologies. He has also worked for Telefónica I+D in Firefox OS and collaborates as JavaScript and Python mentor in IronHack, Tetuan Valley and H4ckademy. Salva maintains several informal and personal projects in his GitHub account and tries to reconcile his life as programmer with his other passions for music, cinema, literature, video-games and crafted beer.

Francisco Baena works as Community Specialist in Google, and is part of the team responsible for the relationship with developers in Europe. Member of the team since July 2015, his mission is drive developers success and awareness of the Open Standards & Google Technologies through the direct support to Developer Communities. Prior to his period at Google, he was Software Engineering Student at the University of Málaga & Southampton Solent University.
