The first picture is of Charlotte, the beautiful cow that escaped the slaughter truck... Cancer is eating her face away, and yet she still loves and cares for her baby. It's amazing! The other pictures are just a tiny idea of the wonderful beauty that happens at this place... Just wanted you to see what who your donations are going to save... Thank you so much for caring!

And the link to PPS itself: http://www.peacefulprairie.org/

Thank you ! Have a wonderful day!

Laura :)

Subject: Fw: Exciting Update on Our Winter Drive!
From: Laura Tennison
Date: October 15,[masked]:57 AM

There has been an exciting development in the fund raising efforts for my most favorite place, Peaceful Prairie Sanctuary (right here in our own backyard). If they can raise another $1,000, then loyal Peaceful Prairie Sanctuary friends will match that donation, making the total $10,000! How wonderful! Then they have reached 1/3 of their goal, which is huge! If everyone on this email, including all of the wonderful folks from Meetup.com, could just donate $20, we could surpass their total goal and make this the best winter EVER for these beautiful and deserving animals! Most of the Peaceful Prairie family has come from farmed animal neglect, abuse and unfathomable apathy. In fact, the newest member, Charlotte the long haired cow, literally escaped the slaughter truck, crashed through fencing, and wandered down the road to PPS, where the very next day she gave birth to her gorgeous daughter Beatrice. If that's not a will to survive I don't know what is! It's so important to look within yourselves and help this struggling sanctuary stay afloat this winter! Please donate now!   Laura Tennison
