What we're about

Welcome to Vegan Life Colorado!

"Vegan Life Colorado" is sponsored by Vegan Life Colorado (http://VeganLifeColorado.org), a nonprofit community building, educational organization, and Animal Action Network (http://AnimalActionNetwork.org), a Colorado based nonprofit vegan/animal rights and advocacy organization.

While "Vegan Life Colorado" is based in Denver Colorado, we also host or support and promote fun, interesting, and educational activities in Boulder (with Boulder Vegan Life group (http://www.meetup.com/BoulderVegans/)), and in the mountains (with Veg Grand Junction (http://www.meetup.com/VegGrandJunction/) group). VLC sometimes plans events on the plains, in the foothills, field trips to Colorado sanctuaries, all over the place! We also promote and support our friends at Colorado Springs Vegans and Vegetarians (http://www.meetup.com/ColoradoSpringsVeg/), Fort Vegan (http://www.meetup.com/Fort-Vegan/) in Fort Collins, and Castle Rock Vegans (http://www.meetup.com/Castle-Rock-Vegans/)!

Vegan Life also supports and promotes VegFest Colorado (http://VegFestColorado.org), a large, fun, educational, and community building annual event for the Denver Metro area and beyond!

This group, and its sponsoring organizations, welcome everyone, regardless of dietary preference
(vegan -for health, animals and/or environment-, ovo/lacto vegetarian, total vegetarian, pre-vegan, vegan curious, non-vegan, etc), to join our fun and friendly community to learn about a more healthy, compassionate, and eco friendly, plant-based/vegan lifestyle. We welcome your participation in a variety of
social activities. We encourage your input and suggestions to help grow and nurture a wonderful community to benefit you, the animals, and our Earth. Let us know if you would like to suggest and help host gatherings that interest you

Come join our Vegan Life family so you won't miss anything! Having a kind and supportive community is important for all of us.

Although we welcome everyone to join and bring guests to come explore a plant-based/vegan lifestyle, since we are based on learning more about veganism for our health, our animal friends, and our planet, and helping people try new foods, we do require that all food and beverages at our gatherings be plant-based /vegan. There would be no reason to have a vegan group, if attendees eat at our gatherings, the same as they do every other meal. In that case, we would simply be a social group that eats. It's also really nice for our members who live the vegan lifestyle, when we all enjoy plant-based meals together. Thank you so much for understanding.

Jill's Vegan Lunch Buffet - HOSTED by Jill's, Boulder (PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS)

This weekly 100% vegan buffet offering, happens most every Friday (check our calendar for possible changes)! NOTE: This event has been so popular, that they have 2 seating times. Here is the message from Jill's Staff. Please read: They offer two seating times for lunch in the Dining Room, instead of just making reservations at any time. The first seating will be at 11:30 AM, and the second will be 1:30 PM. Guests who make an 11:30 reservation will be asked to be finished with lunch before 1:00 in order for the 1:00 PM reservation to be seated at the table. They made this change in order to make more availability so more people could have an opportunity to enjoy the lunch buffet. • Since the price can change, I won’t post it here. You might want to call ahead to check. The price includes a complementary glass of wine or kombucha. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact them at (720)[masked] or email us at [masked] *From Vegan Life organizers: This is a notice of the weekly offering so members know about it and will be able to go when they can. Sometimes we do this as a gathering, but not every week. When we plan a gathering, or I know in advance that I'm going, I will make the reservation and post the time in the comments below. If you are planning to go when there isn't a gathering or if the gathering time doesn't work for you, and you would like to invite other members to join you, you can put a note in the comments below. When it isn't an official gathering, or when you want to sit on your own, please remember that you will need to make your own reservations by calling (720)[masked], OR you can try to be seated in the "first come first serve (FCFS)" seating to the right. When the weather is nice, the front patio has tables for 2, and is also available FCFS without a reservation. *I set this up as a MeetUp, because the notes on the calendar don't show up on our home page. This way new members and visitors to our group can also see them and will know about them. * I am listed as host so that I'll receive email notices, but I can't go every week. If I'm able to go and anyone wants to join me, I will have to make a reservation for the group by the WEDNESDAY afternoon before, so we'll be sure to have a spot. Please make a note of this and let me know in advance if you want to sit together. Thanks! [masked] Attention: Ann Remember, you are always welcome to invite other members to join you by using the comment section below and then make your own reservation.
