Dear Ayurveda Aficionados,

Last month’s Sunday Sangha was thoroughly enjoyed by those in attendance – thanks to everyone who participated!  We also had a fantastic 1-day National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) Western Regional Conference last month in which the Vedika kitchen provided delicious ayurveda meals and snacks!

Please read on for information about our Two-Month Ayurveda Health Immersion Experience and other upcoming events including our September Sangha.


Two-Month Ayurveda Health Immersion Experience

Learn the Ayurvedic path to living well. This powerful two-month experience with a focus on health optimization and disease prevention can change your health and your life for the better, forever. A sequential series of teachings in Ayurveda lifestyle, foods, cooking, home remedies, emotional health and whole person healing experiences are offered.

Vedika Global’s unique healing environment and tranquil surroundings offer many opportunities for you to relax, reflect, meditate and rejuvenate. Support by accessible teachers and senior students add to the warmth of this health immersion experience. Each student will receive a delightful seasonally appropriate Ayurvedic dinner from our teaching kitchen before each class.

Course Curriculum covers following topics:
•  Prakriti: Your unique mind-body constitution
•  Doshas: How to avoid Doshas from getting out of balance, how to bring them back to balance
•  Ayurveda Psychology
•  Spiritually uplifting discourses on Vedanta and teachings of Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, Mudras and Mantras
•  Cooking demonstrations of traditional healing recipes that equip you with confidence in your own home kitchen
•  Designing a personalized healthy Ayurveda lifestyle

Dates:
•  New Student Orientation: Friday, September 5 from 6:45-8:45pm
•  First Day of Classes: Tuesday, September 9 from 6:00-9:00pm
•  Weekday evenings September 9 - October 22, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00-  9:00pm
•  Plus two weekend intensives the second weekend of each month from 9:00am-5:00pm (September 13-14 & October 11-12)

This course is open to all, but is especially designed for beginners. The early-bird registration cost of the course is $1400. However, Ayurveda Community of the Bay Area meetup members who indicate interest in the course no later than this Friday, August 15, and register no later than Monday, August 18 receive an additional $150 discount, making the total cost $1250.
