What we're about

Hello Fellow Hikers!

Welcome to East Bay Hikers. We’re a group dedicated to hiking and exploring trails in the East Bay and beyond. All are welcome. Please take a moment to complete the poll under the “More” tab. This will help me understand what you are most interested in.

Whether you’re hiking with a meetup, or on your own, please review these hiking safety tips. (http://www.findyourtrail.com/trail-safety1/)

Since we’ll occasionally be hiking on East Bay Mud land, you’ll need to get a permit. You can get that here (https://www.ebmud.com/recreation/trail-use-permits).

Yosemite Nat'l Park or Sequoia Nat'l Park Day Hike
Needs a date and time

Location visible to members

Hi! Would you be interested in setting up a meet up for day after Christmas or the 27th at Yosemite National Park or even Sequoia National Park for a day hike? It would be fun to do a little wintery (maybe snowy) hike during the holidays. It also is always safe to hike in groups during this time of year. Just a suggestion since I was thinking of going as well :)
