Saturday Night Sangha

East Bay Healing Collective; Coming Home Room

Welcome to Saturday Night Sangha! We are a peer led meditation group. We meet for a 40 minute meditation, followed by a talk and community discussion. Due to the need for social distancing, we will not be meeting in person for the foreseeable future. We are meeting online! You can join us on Google Meet. Please email Brian at [masked] to be added to our list. The video link will be sent out 10-15 minutes before the 6 pm meeting time.

Heart of Light Meditation

Online event

Come join us for an evening of silent meditation in sacred community. Silent meditation gives one the space to unfold and relax into one's natural and undivided self. This practice is excellent for maintaining a life of well being while consciously continuing along a path of self care and discovery. In practicing together, we support each other in our individual processes as well as being with what is, exactly as it is in the present moment. This group is offered every Monday evening at 6:30 pm at the East Bay Healing Collective. This group is led in roughly a Dharma Talk style: after the meditation, the facilitator gives a talk that draws upon teachings from Buddhism as well as many other traditions from East and West. DURING the COVID-19 shelter-in-place, this sangha will continue to meet every Monday, but only online. Here's the link: https://zoom.us/j/225013362?pwd=Z203SjNGY0tmRktMajFIZHBPekNMdz09 Password =[masked] The Zoom meeting is preset to mute guests on entrance, so it's no problem to arrive late, even during the silent sit or the dharma talk, because you'll be automatically on mute when you enter. Open to everyone and well-suited for beginners and experienced meditators alike, a typical evening includes 40 minutes of meditation, a talk inspired by various spiritual teachings, and interactive time of Q & A / discussion. One only needs the openness to sit with oneself, the curiosity to be with what arises, and the courage to be honest about what is discovered. If you are new to meditation and would like some extra guidance or have questions, feel free to come a few minutes early and/or stay a few minutes late! Further your practice with us, or come dip a toe into a quiet reflective space and explore what is here for you. The sangha is offered to the community free of charge. At the end of the evening, participants have the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution only if they feel moved to do so. You can hear some of Mike's past dharma talks here (http://heartoflight.podbean.com/). If you'd like to share feedback about a previous session of this sangha, please share that here. East Bay Men’s Support Circle (Online)

Needs a location

**Due to COVID-19 we are hosting these meetings online. Please contact [masked] to join** Would you like help processing some of the challenging experiences you’ve been going through at work, in your relationships, or at home? Are you looking for a supportive group to hold you accountable to the goals you’ve set for yourself? … Or do you just wanna make new friends? This Support Circle at the East Bay Healing Collective is for anyone who’d like to form deeper connections with others working on personal growth, specifically for men. We offer a non-judgemental container where people can speak openly about issues they might find difficult to talk about anywhere else (including: finances, sexuality, relationships, family or career strife, and more). Our meetings are mostly peer-led. By the end of each gathering, we end with a deeper sense that we are not alone. A levity in each of our situations arises when we are able to be vulnerable with one another. From that light-hearted place, we’re better equipped to take inspired action, set creative goals, and build the lives we want to be living. Click the “Attend” button and find out how great it can be to FEEL SUPPORTED! Our meetings consist of: - A short meditation - An ‘Ice Breaker’ game - A brief Check-in to share about your week and be heard through reflection. - Extended “Circles" for anyone to discuss a topic that’s been on their mind, with the opportunity to receive feedback, suggestions, accountability and support. Schedule : 2nd Thursday of the Month @ 7:00PM 4th Thursday of the Month @ 7:00PM **Suggested donation to the EBHC: $10. We are an inclusive community so come to one of our meetings and be heard! Optional: We also host a Whatsapp group to share resources, check-in with each other, and follow up with any commitments that were set during our meetings.
