Saturday Night Sangha

East Bay Healing Collective; Coming Home Room

Welcome to Saturday Night Sangha! We are a Bay Area meditation group that welcomes and supports people from all spiritual traditions. We meet for a 40 minute meditation, followed by a talk and community discussion. We have a tradition of going out to dinner after the meeting, which you are warmly invited to join.

Due to growing in-person attendance, in an effort to create more space for people in the room to share and talk, we are no longer offering the group via Zoom. We hope to see you at the sangha in-person!

If you have any questions or would like to join our mailing list, please email Travis at [masked]

Women’s Circle: Meditation and Creativity

East Bay Healing Collective; Coming Home Room

Join us for an evening of meditation and creativity. We will meditate for 30 mins followed by a discussion centered around meditation and mindfulness. The night will close with a creative project such as jewelry making or vision board collage. Both meditation and creativity reduce stress and anxiety. Having a regular practice allows for new perspective and thinking outside of our old patterns. When we come together in community we are supporting each other on the path and allowing ourselves to be seen in an authentic way. All who identify as women are welcome. Suggested donation $15.00 but no one is turned away for lack of funds.

When: Sundays from 6:30-8:00pm

Where: East Bay Healing Collective
1840 Alcatraz Avenue Berkeley CA

Heart of Light Meditation

East Bay Healing Collective; Coming Home Room

Come join us for an evening of silent meditation in sacred community. Silent meditation gives one the space to unfold and relax into one's natural and undivided self. This practice is excellent for maintaining a life of well being while consciously continuing along a path of self care and discovery. In practicing together, we support each other in our individual processes as well as being with what is, exactly as it is in the present moment.

This group is offered every Monday evening at 6:30 pm at the East Bay Healing Collective. This group is led in roughly a Dharma Talk style: after the meditation, the facilitator gives a talk that draws upon teachings from Buddhism as well as many other traditions from East and West.

The group meets in person. All fully vaccinated people are welcome to attend and be maskless in the room. Unvaccinated folks attend at their own risk. The sangha will be “hybrid.” Folks who are at a distance or who don’t feel comfortable meeting in person can join by Zoom. Here's the link:

The Zoom meeting is preset to mute guests on entrance, so it's no problem to arrive late, even during the silent sit or the dharma talk, because you'll be automatically on mute when you enter.

Open to everyone and well-suited for beginners and experienced meditators alike, a typical evening includes 40 minutes of meditation, a talk inspired by various spiritual teachings, and interactive time of Q & A / discussion. One only needs the openness to sit with oneself, the curiosity to be with what arises, and the courage to be honest about what is discovered.

If you are new to meditation and would like some extra guidance or have questions, feel free to come a few minutes early and/or stay a few minutes late! Further your practice with us, or come dip a toe into a quiet reflective space and explore what is here for you.

The sangha is offered to the community free of charge. At the end of the evening, participants have the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution only if they feel moved to do so.

You can hear some of Mike's past dharma talks here (http://heartoflight.podbean.com/).

If you'd like to share feedback about a previous session of this sangha, please share that here.
Mike welcomes any feedback that anyone has to share.

EBHC Support Circle [Online]

Online event

Join us for an evening of deep and authentic conversation.

This Support Circle at the East Bay Healing Collective offers a non-judgmental container where people can speak openly about issues they might find difficult to discuss anywhere else. Topics can revolve around physical & mental health, relationships, sexuality, career, family ties, and more. Our mission is to create a safe space to both receive and give support to our fellow human beings - to form deeper connections with others by sharing our personal journeys in a group format.

If you would like help processing some of the challenging experiences you’ve been going through at work, in your relationships, or at home, join us and relieve the pain of a mind wandering alone. When we are able to be vulnerable and kind to one another we restore our humanity.

By the end of each gathering a weight is lifted from each of us. And from that light-hearted place of compassion, we are better equipped to take inspired action, set creative goals, and build the lives we aspire for.

Meetings consist of:

  • A settling meditation or body exercise.
  • A brief Check-in to share your week and be heard through reflection.
  • Extended “Circles" for anyone to unpack an issue they’ve been struggling through - with the opportunity to receive feedback, honesty, and most importantly - Empathy.
  • Lastly a personal accountability commitment for growth.

Schedule :
7:00PM - 9:15PM.
Two Thursdays a Month

COST: $5 to be collected on the day of the meeting.

You can prepay if you do not want to forget.
