Announcing a new Meetup for The Light Chasers of SoCal!
What: US Open of Surfing
When: Saturday, August 7,[masked]:00 AM
Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)
This week has been the biggest surf competition in the world at Huntington Beach and it will be ending this sunday. This is a great opportunity to put those zoom lenses to the test and get some sun! If you've been wanting to try to do some action sports photography this is an awesome chance to do so!
This will be a No Host Event so everyone has a chance to walk around and look at the different things going on around the competition and HB.
There will be a million people there so I suggest to pack light and wear sandals!
Parking is VERY tough there in the afternoon so I suggest to try to be there as early possible. The best places to park are around 8th to 11th Street, they're only a couple of blocks away from the event.
