New Meetup: Thank You and Goodnight

Announcing a new Meetup for Peninsula Jammers!

What: Thank You and Goodnight

When: Saturday, December 18,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Chad's Garage
Sun Mor Ave
Mountain View, CA 94040
[masked]

Thanks to all the wonderful musicians that have come to the jams I have hosted. It truly has been an honor and I am grateful that despite the shitty garage, shitty drumset, and my annoying self, people have come to every session thus far. These jams obviously could not happen if people didn't come, so thank you again.
I am impressed by how much skill, energy, and soul the members of this group bring. Every time I have felt the group has succeeded in combining know-how, muscle memory, and experimentation to create some really cool sounding clips. The more practiced musicians always seem willing and happy to work with the beginners in an "it's all good" sort of way, in the spirit of the jam. And so far whenever someone has suggested an original song idea everyone has been eager to give it a try.
The only person that has had a disagreeable attitude toward anything has been myself towards covers. And umm... I promise that eventually I will come around, but I'd like the group to put together some originals. I believe in our ability to create some songs, and I want to push everyone to give it a try.
Regardless, this weekend will be the last jam at my place for a couple weeks. I imagine it will be like the ones before. I'll have a new song we'll work on if nobody else has anything, and we'll also make some noise.
