Now in its 8th year, the Cherry Blossom Festival of Southern California celebrates both the blooming of the cherry blossoms in Japan, and Japanese and Japanese American culture. Held in Little Tokyo, the festival features cultural exhibitions and performances, and food and craft vendors! And admission is free!

Please Visit the official Cherry Blossom Festival of Southern California website.

When:
We will be meeting on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:30am. The festival in Little Tokyo runs both on Saturday, April 10 and April 11.

The Plan:
We will meet up in Little Tokyo (I will email my cellphone number later), and then check out the various vendors, and watch the cultural performances and demonstrations (I am especially interested in the karate demonstration and Polynesian dance performance). We will also check out some of the local restaurants and do a little sightseeing.
