"TURNING OVER A NEW LEAF" Sunday Supper with Guest Chef Agnieszka
When: Sunday, November 14,[masked]:15 PM
Where: Kairos-Milwaukie UCC, 4790 SE Logus Rd., Milwaukie, OR 97222

Come join me this week as the special chef is my friend Agnieszka of The New Leaf (and her sous chefs) making one of my favorite dishes ever of curried veggies along with a spicy version of the almond butter fudge brownie cookies from her class last Saturday at People's Co-op. Those who've had her food know how wonderful it is. Not only is she talented but the food is also quite good for you as well making it doubly delicious.

The menu will include:
  • Golden Curried Vegetables ?
  • White "Root Rice" ?
  • Sage-Curry Crackers ?
  • Market Greens Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette ?
  • Curried Chocolate Almond Squares ?
Created from Organic, Raw, Vegan, Gluten-Free Ingredients.

Those attending are asked to support creating community with their presence for the full evening and a donation for the food of $10-20, though they always accept whatever one is able to give.

  • 5:30 ? Dinner and sharing around the tables
  • 6:30 to 7:00 ? Circle Time
  • 7:00 to 8:00 ? Clean up & Community Bonding

Sunday Supper is also trying to help facilitate carpooling for those who are living car-free or just want to combine rides to save money and/or resources. If you need a ride or have an extra seat please respond in the RSVP, or call, but don't count on getting a ride. There is a Tri-Met bus that drops people off a block or so away just before dinner starts and it's easier to get a ride back once there.

Thanks!
