    Description: Animals are at the losing end of an age old battle. This
documentary tackles the many conscious and not so conscious human
motivations that drive this war through an expose of attitudes
expressed by those who use animals as products, including
representatives in government, industry and entertainment. And it
reveals how activism and education is helping to shift attitudes to
accommodate a more harmonious relationship with all sentient beings.

Vegan Toastmasters meeting at the same venue as the AR conference, and
we'll be having a special guest speaker, Jon Camp of Vegan Outreach who
will give a talk entitled "Optimal Animal Advocacy: Speaking Effectively
When The Stakes Are High." For those of you unfamiliar with Vegan
Toastmasters, it is a public speaking club designed to help you be more
comfortable and effective as a public speaker, with a special focus on
speaking on vegan, animal rights, and environmental issues. Normally we
meet the first and third Saturdays of the month at Whole Foods on
National and Barrington but this time we will be
