As you will have noticed for nearly a week it hasn't been possible to access our meetup typing www.consciouslivingdublin.com and that has caused some problems to both you as group members and us as organizers.

Fortunately this technical issue has now been solved, however, considering that some of you couldn't make it, please take the time to update your RSVP for our next event, so that we can make an estimation of the number of attendees for the workshop.

Does this mean that we need to let go of the old idea of a traditional job completely, to fully embrace the new paradigm emerging as a result of the Internet explosion?

Not necessarily, but certainly traditional employment is no longer the only option available. A new world of infinite possibilities is now available to us (if we are open to the idea...) .

IT REQUIRES SOME WORK BUT IN TIME THE REWARDS ARE ENORMOUS

Contrary to what some marketing gurus want to make you believe, Internet marketing won't make you rich overnight, and there is some work ahead to be done, but if you are ready to commit some time and effort the rewards are immense! You can work from anywhere in the world, at the times of the days that suits you!

Particularly if you are restricted to working limited hours, whether it is because you have another job, you are studying or you are at home looking after a family, it is probably the ideal solution.

It also allows you to create extra time for travelling, if this is your aspiration, and even make travelling your habitual way of living, if that's what you want, once you have set up a system that works for you (rather than the other way around...).

A WORLD FULL OF OPPORTUNITIES...

We all know how the challenges that we are facing have reshaped our lives. Some people say that this is a temporary change and that we will come back to our old lifestyle. Other people say that we won’t, and I am one of them. Yet, this is not a bad thing!

If there is one thing that history keeps teaching us is that with every challenge comes an opportunity. And the bigger the challenge the greater the opportunity to learn, to grow, to change, and to bring our life to the next level (individually as well as collectively).

WHENEVER THERE IS CHALLENGE THERE IS ALSO AN OPPORTUNITY

I strongly believe that challenges appear precisely when we are ready to evolve to a greater version of who we are, and the way to move in that direction is through CHANGE. And that’s the magic word. If we are willing to CHANGE, if we are willing to stop and ask ourselves, “Who am I meant to become through this challenge that I am facing?” we will celebrate every time we are challenged.

Why? Because it means that we are ready to move to the next level!

WE NEED TO BE PREPARED. THE WAY TO PREPARE IS TO EMBRACE CHANGE

The trick is to always be prepared. And the way to prepare is to implement the changes that are needed with good timing. When that becomes our habitual attitude, we are constantly attuned to life, as it reshapes itself in front of our eyes.

So, what are the changes that we need to make in response to the challenge that we are facing collectively, particularly in relation to our professional life?

DEVELOPING A NEW MINDSET

Well, it seems that we have to rely on ourselves more than before, we need to be self-driven. We also spend more time on our own, and certainly, the use of the internet plays a key role. We are invited to see ourselves as entrepreneurs, as people who create their own opportunities, rather than waiting for somebody to show up and change our life. In simple words, our inner word needs to become stronger. We need to rely on it one hundred percent!

We need to be able to stay motivated, to have self-discipline, to manage our time effectively. We need to know how to set goals properly, how to choose the right opportunities. To do that we need to train our mind, to shape it consciously, as we do when we go to the GYM to become stronger.
