Session 1: From Source to Insight: Mirroring and Medallion Architecture in Fabric by Tim Spannagel
In this session, we will show how data sources are connected to Microsoft Fabric via mirroring and replicated in near real-time.
We will then demonstrate how Materialized Lake Views help efficiently prepare this data within a medallion architecture enabling faster insights.

Session 2: Applied GenAI on Azure: Experiences from Real-World Application Development by Yvonne Stürz
Generative AI is making its way into more and more business processes, but how do you move from experiment to usable solution within an enterprise? In this session, Yvonne shares practical experiences from developing custom GenAI applications for enterprise clients on Microsoft Azure. The talk highlights approaches for integrating organizational data, choosing and adapting open-source frameworks, and building solutions that are both flexible and maintainable.
Whether for knowledge management, automation, or tailored business use cases, this session offers insights and lessons learned from bringing GenAI initiatives from idea to production.

About Yvonne
Yvonne is the Lead for Data Science, AI, and GenAI at b.telligent in Zurich, a consulting firm dedicated to delivering meaningful business value through data-driven solutions. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zurich, and has conducted postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley and KTH Sweden, focusing on data-driven algorithms at the intersection of machine learning and automatic control. Passionate about harnessing AI to create real impact, she works closely with customers to design and implement GenAI solutions that address concrete business challenges and deliver measurable results. As a consultant, she has delivered multiple production-ready GenAI platforms on Microsoft Azure, with a special focus on open, flexible, and code-first approaches for enterprise AI.
