Session 1: "Can your data be SOVEREIGN WITH Microsoft?" by Oliver Dörr and Patrick Fontana

Oliver and Patrick will provide a comprehensive overview of Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty and the Sovereign Solution Stack.

With over 20 years of global IT experience across healthcare, financial services, and space, he had several chances to demonstrate turning complex challenges into lasting business impacts, that are secure, operable and lastly with sovereign options in mind.

Patrick Fontana is a Cloud & AI Specialist at Microsoft with 25 years of experience designing and operating hybrid solutions for public sector, defense, and highly regulated infrastructures. He focuses on sovereign and hybrid cloud architectures that balance digital sovereignty, security, and compliance with the freedom to innovate. His work is driven by enabling innovation spaces where modern cloud and AI technologies accelerate transformation without compromising trust, resilience, or governance.

Session 2: "Protect your Cloud Environment with Azure Policies" by Thomas Hafermalz

This session is about how to ensure a secure & compliant cloud environment with Azure Policies. It shows how it works, how to use them & what are the best practices in the development process. It also shows pitfalls and technical issue examples in a demo section.
