Securing the Cloud

Details
The Cloud Computing industry is constantly growing, as more and more companies are migrating their workloads to the public cloud providers. The number of breaches seems also to be higher than ever. During this event, you will learn how to address the new security challenges, and more...
All platform vendors such AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google, and others offer tools to secure the cloud workloads and applications but are these enough? What should be done additionally? The different pillars, such as workload security, configuration management, and compliance, and identity management will be discussed with an overview and a short demo.
Not only companies but universities are challenged as well to present meaningful and current cybersecurity courses. In this session, we’ll examine an approach for creating undergraduate cloud security courses that can help students prepare for the cyber workforce aligned to professional certifications and practitioner standards.
Last, but not least we will listen to best practices around cloud security.
During the round-table discussion, we will discover how the banking and educational sector protects itself against cloud threats and vulnerabilities. In this panel, we will discover the key elements to take into account for a solid cloud strategy.
