Welcome to the Battersea Book Club!
A perfect excuse to leave the house once or twice a month, meet some new people and make some nice connections. ALSO you'll be gently coerced into reading a whole book each month which can only be good for you!
We'll meet once a month to talk about the book we've just read and also vote on the next one, as well as this (time permitting) we'll have a drink, play a quick game of cards and talk about other things.
Meetings will be held in cosy pubs in the Battersea Area on the first Wednesday off the month around 7.00pm although this may change depending on what works best for everyone.
Hopefully that all sounds adequate, you can probably tell I don't take things too seriously and I expect that disposition to bleed into the atmosphere of these events.
I was going to say the only requirement is being able to read but actually if you know someone who is willing to read the whole book to you then thats also fine.
