This group is all about meeting fellow gaming-enthusiasts and having a fun, laid back time over your favorite board games! I hope that this group enables you to meet new people from a variety of social and cultural backgrounds, as well as learn new games and teach others your favorite games!
A new gaming event to lighten your Tuesdays! Sunny weather for games outside (or inside if you prefer). We look to go out of the basement and into the good weather!
You will find us at the back room of the Bar or outside in the back. If there is any questions on the location, you can post it in the group or ask the bartenders at the bar.
Beginners and experienced gamers are welcome, but this is a bar, with smaller tables, so shorter, lighter games are probably better than 6 hour epics :)
The bar games library will grow over time, so for now bring a few games with you that you'd like to play. Chris, Pepe and Abhinav are your regular rotating hosts and the event organiser.
See you at the bar. 👋
Welcome to the weekly wednesday night boardgame meetup at the Muted Horn.
The bar is located very close to U-Bahnhof Boddinstrasse.
What if I come late?
We continously start the games all the time. No worries. There will be places free.
What if I am new to boardgames?
No worries. We usually explain the games beforehand and play a variety of games. Regulars are quite helpful in any questions. Just come and try it out!
The bar has some boardgames already such as 7 wonders and settlers of catan. You are welcome to bring your own.
As a general rule, English is the preferred language. Depending on the game, games in german are fine. The crowd tends to be more international so English tends to be the lingua franca.
This is hosted in a bar, so at least order a drink. They have to pay their bills too, otherwise, it won't last in the long run.
