Free DrinkWatchTalk & Verein Celebration

Happy New Year Berlin! 🎉
We here at the Berlin Film Community have been working hard behind the scenes to bring you some exciting news! 🎞️

First: we’re now an official Verein. After a loooot of paperwork and a dash of bureaucracy we finally made it! ✅ That means memberships are open, with real perks like free seminars and other member benefits. ⭐ Afterwards the movie screenings we will have a celebration of the founding of the Verein and invite you to stay and mingle with us! 🥳

We’re gonna have our first meeting of the year on Sunday, February 1st and we can celebrate and tell you all about it. 📅

Second: we’ve moved, and the space is phenomenal! From now on, our events will be at House of Music Berlin (https://www.houseofmusic.berlin/). 🎶🏠 House of Music aims to be Berlin's Creative Hub and we are happy to be part of this! We’re genuinely thrilled to be welcomed there, and we know you’ll love the vibe. 😍✨

Third: on the February 1st meeting we’re doing a combo Drink.Watch.Talk. 🍸👀💬 where we will feature a short film with a director joining us in person for a Q&A. 🎥🎙️ We’ll also show a curated selection of short movies, all with English subtitles where needed. More details on the films and schedule will follow soon. 🎞️

If you’re into filmmaking, curious about getting started, or you just love being around people who want to create, come by. We’re here to develop ideas, write, crew up, shoot, and support each other’s projects along the way. ✍️🎬🤝
