Sunday 5PM Beach Volley @ Beach Mitte

Join us for outdoor beach volley at Beach Mitte!

Everyone from beginners to more advanced players is welcome. Though if you are completely new to volleyball, or a try-hard pro, this event is not for you.

We have courts for 4v4 beginner play and 3v3 more advanced play. You can join whatever court you like and move between courts during the event. The organization is informal: once you finish a game, start a rematch, mix with another court, or take a break as you see fit. Upon arrival, join the warmup happening on one of the courts.

Make sure you bring sports clothing suitable for the time of year. There are changing rooms and hot water showers that cost 1 EUR.

It's recommended to come 10 minutes early so you have time to change and find the fields. If it is your first time, 15 minutes might be even better.

Rules: For everyone's safety, we do not allow kicking the ball during games with beginners. Do not join if you have an infectious disease.

Payment: Costs are 8,69 EUR per person, paid in advance via Meetup. There is no Urban Sports Club discount.

Bad weather: The event typically still happens if there is light rain. In case of more severe weather, the event will be canceled at least 90 minutes before it starts.

Refunds: There are no refunds, not even when the event gets canceled due to bad weather. This is because we must pay for the courts in advance, and the venue does not provide refunds. If you know some days in advance that you cannot make it, you can try to sell your spot to someone else.
