Join the Berlin Wine Lovers for a wonderful evening sampling different wines (chosen by the participants) with the food pairing of Asian cuisine.

From sushi to curries, asian cuisine is diverse and has astonishing combinations of flavours.

The salty freshness of sushi, the spicy sweetness of kimchi; the deep, umami taste of Peking duck, the heady explosive spices of Indian curries.... All these flavours represent both exciting possibilities and challenges for wine pairing.

Bring a wine (white, rosé, red, sparkling) that pairs with any of these dishes: (try to think out of the box to thrill our taste buds and senses)

  • Thai calamari salad
  • Cold sesame noodle (v)
  • Chinese shiitaki mushroom stew (v)
  • Satay chicken
  • Mango pudding

Sure, an off-dry Riesling would be a safe choice, but be imaginative and creative, we'll push the rules of food and wine pairing to their limits.

  2. Decide on your bottle of wine to bring and share - (the only requirement is that the wine should have a value of 15€ or more)
  3. Cancellation period is 48 hours

No need to be a wine expert - this group is all about sharing different wines and experience, and enjoy each other's company - irrespective of our wine knowledge.
