Welcome to the Berlin Wine Lovers Meetup Group!
This group is all about combining the love for wine with social networking and fun. Whether you enjoy wine appreciation, wine and dine experiences, or simply want to meet fellow wine enthusiasts, this group offers it all.
Come join us to learn, drink and discover new wines and socializing.
We also welcome art and wine lovers, foodies, and anyone who just appreciates the finer things in life.
There will be a number of "wine" focused events arranged, starting with a monthly "Blind Wine" tasting, with a different theme for each occasion.
Everyone is welcome, and no knowledge of wine is needed, this group is about enjoying wine and having fun.

La Perle Rare
Pestana Berlin Tiergarten, Stülerstraße 6, Berlin, DERed diamonds or red bubbles? Not quite as rare, but good quality red bubblies can be a truly rewarding find.
Not anymore the laughing stock at the back of Auntie Daisy's kitchen cupboard, red bubblies are turning up on the wine lists of top notch restaurants worldwide.
So, be curious and adventurous and look into unlikely places such as France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, not to mention Australia, of course..... you'll be surprised by the choices on offer. BTW did I hear the names Berlusconi and Putin?!
To ease the pain for our liberal-minded members, the choice will be extended to rosé bubblies, but only "saingées", please. Afterall, it's not a rosé tasting😉
So, the search is on for 'la perle rare'!
The requirements for the wine are simple,
- price range of 15€ plus),
- if white, rose, or sparkling please bring already chilled,
and IMPORTANTLY, keep the wine covered so no-one can see it.During our event - we share, we taste, we analyse, we discuss, we enjoy and we attempt to identify what’s in the glass.
No expertise is required - curiosity and a sense of humour is enough.💶 Contribution
