Dyngus Day – also known as Lany Poniedziałek and Dingus Day in many Polish American communities – is a holiday that falls on the Monday immediately after Easter Sunday. It is a day that not only celebrates Polish culture but is also a day to blow off a little bit of steam after the restrictions imposed by Lent have ended. Dyngus Day is not a religious holiday, it's a social event. So don't worry if you didn't give up anything for Lent.

The Second Tuesday of APRIL we will be at a location we really seem to like, Clyde's Willow Creek Farm. At the back side of the carriage bar, as usual (if we are lucky their new patio will be completed too).

This restaurant is a must visit in Northern Virginia. Varied menu, fresh food, reasonable prices, and beautiful architecture... restaurant is an old barn and homestead actually re-located to Loudoun County.

We're going to try revisit this venue with a patio. Parrando's Ashburn.

One Hot Mess is back at Sunshine Ridge! We had so much fun last summer we can't miss another chance to hear this great band! We will get there at 2:30 to grab a some tables in front of the stage. Bring a chair for added comfort. The band starts at 3:00. Since we will be outside everyone can bring food to share. If you prefer to purchase food the winery offers, charcuterie, flatbreads and hot pretzels. In addition there will be a food truck.

Their locally grown grapes and variety of wines offer something for every wine enthusiast. Their farm winery has grapes, fruit and hops planted to produce some delicious craft beverages.
