Borderless invites you to join a 10-week project to create an book about LGBTQ+ migrants (it can include different forms of creative expression, such a poetry, photos, stories, illustrations) This ten week project is for refugees/asylum seekers and forced migrants. Borderless is a local initiative to create a friendly, safe and supportive space for POC LGBTQ+ refugees / forced migrants. We want to challenge prejudice and dismantle hate through raising awareness on LGBTQ issues, creating partnerships with organisations (including educational institutions and faith groups), promoting open conversations between residents and providing information on gender and sexual diversity.
Borderless is a partnership between Queer Newham, Seeders Circle and Newham Poetry Group.
