We want to create a community of like minded individuals who enjoy board games!
We're passionate about bringing people together with gaming and have experts to help match you and your group to the right games.
Our events will be opportunities to create new friends and really see what games are out there.
- We have over 900 board games to choose from.
- We have a range of games from deep strategy games to light party games for large groups and everything inbetween.
All ages welcome, though we will caution people who have unwittingly selected games that are not age appropriate. We want everyone to have a safe, fun time.
We run regular events such as quiz nights, board game nights and table top role playing nights so if any of that appeals to you then we hope to see you there. Events cost $4.00 per person per hour unless otherwise specified in the description.

Tabletop Tuesday (D&D oneshot)
Cakes n Ladders (Board Game Cafe), 173 Symonds Street, Auckland, NZCome along for an evening of light-hearted role play for people who enjoy role playing (or the idea of role playing) but can't make a regular session.
Newbie friendly and semi-continuous games are run starting from 6:30 (doors open at 5:30).
This will be semi-campaign like in structure and the characters will be continuous though we will also periodically run one shots as well.
Interested newcomers or seasoned veterans will be comfortable. Cost is $15 per person and although the cafe will appear to be closed we're open for the event.As we're running continuous characters bringing some way of taking notes that you can easily store for the next session would be ideal.
