Too fast for a stroll? Too slow for a run?
Brisk walking—this is the right tempo if you’re not here to stroll or jog/run.

This is a structured 60–90 min brisk walk through Munich (urban + green segments), followed by an optional social lunch/drinks.

You can challenge yourself to talk while maintaining pace, or stay focused and save the conversation for later.

Schedule

  • Meeting time: 12:00 noon
  • Walking start: 12:15 sharp (no waiting after this)
  • Walk duration: 12:15 → ~13:45
  • Lunch / drinks (optional): 13:45 → ~15:00
  • Open end: stay longer if you like

Meeting Point
At Marienplatz, in front of the Fischbrunnen (the fish fountain).
If you miss the start, just meet us directly at the destination.

Route & Finish

  • Route: Urban loop with green segments
  • Estimated arrival: ~13:45
  • Destination: Cotidiano Promenadeplatz
  • Table reserved under: “Munich Brisk Walk”

After the Walk

  • Optional late lunch/drinks from ~13:45
  • Everyone pays for their own food and drinks

Pace & Format

  • Brisk walking only (not a stroll, not a run)
  • Expect a steady, continuous pace
  • Minimal stops; short regroup points only
  • Optional: rotate up to 4 walk-talk partners during the walk
  • Walking in pairs

What to Wear

  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)

Weather Policy

  • Walk takes place in most conditions
  • Cancelled only in heavy rain or snowstorm
  • Updates will be posted the day before and/or morning of the event in the comment section

Event fees: free

The event is held in English, but feel free to switch to your common language anytime when interacting with your partner.

Photography
Photos may be taken during the event for documentation and community sharing (event page). If you prefer not to be photographed, please write to me at least 24 hours before the event begins. This will be fully respected.

Community & event etiquette

  • This space works because participants show up with presence and responsibility.
  • If you RSVP “Going,” you are expected to attend.
  • If your plans change, please remove yourself from the Going or Waiting List at least 12 hours before the event.
  • Cancellations less than 6 hours before the event will be marked as a No-Show and may affect participation in future events.
  • If an emergency arises, message me directly to avoid being flagged as a No-Show.

Boundaries

  • This is not a space for promoting or selling products or services. Participants who do so will be asked to leave and removed from the group.
  • These boundaries are in place to protect the quality, safety, and integrity of the experience.
  • By attending, you agree to respect both the structure of the event and the experience of others.
