What makes us different? The area around Middletown and Dayton is fast growing and under-represented in the Meetup arena. We are trying to bridge that gap with social activities that take place all over this region.
What else? If you’re shy, come early and meet with the organizers first. We will do our best to make you feel at ease and introduce you to others as they arrive for an event.
Is that all? Remember, we can organize events, but without you, there is no group. So sign up and get active!

Wolf Creek Habitat & Rescue
Marathon Gas Station, 1341 W Market St, Germantown, OH, USPlease note: You will want to check back to this page the day before the event to ensure logistics haven't changed!!! Especially the weather has an effect on if we are able to go! Also, we need to let them know how many people will be attending at least 3 days in advance so they can get volunteers arrange to handle our group!!! So if you RSVP, please make sure you either cancel MORE THAN 3 days in advance or you SHOW UP! Thanks!
Time for the spring ride over!!!! We will be doing a "ride" to Wolf Creek Habitat and Rescue on Saturday, April 25, 2026. By "ride" I mean there will be a group of people on motorcycles who will be in the lead and the rest of us will be following in cars. Your choice on your mode of transportation.
We will meet at 9:45 a.m. at the Marathon Station in Germantown and will pull out PROMPTLY at 10:00 a.m. (if you aren't there when we pull out, meet us at the Habitat) so please be sure to be on time and either share a ride with someone (if you are willing to drive, please make it known when you arrive, how many people can ride with you) or get your vehicle in line. There is plenty of room to park your car in the strip mall next door if you ride with someone else. We generally stop for lunch on the way back (optional - just check with the person you are riding with before heading back to make sure you are on the same page.)
We will drive over together (it is about 1 1/4 hr. drive). We will spend a couple hours at the Habitat and Rescue. You may walk around and you can view most of the wolves from their 185ft Observation Deck at no charge.
You have the option of purchasing a ticket to go in and interact with the wolves. I have done this before and it is AMAZING!! One of the people going has a relationship with this rescue and has arranged this visit for us to get in for 1/2 price!!! If you want to get in with the wolves, it is normally a $50 DONATION, but for this trip, it will be a minimum $25 DONATION. Please consider what amount you are able to donate as this is the main funding for feeding and caring for these beautiful creatures who would have otherwise been euthanized.
Interaction Rules:
## CASH AND ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED
## Interactions close at 2 P
## ALL PERSONAL ITEMS MUST REMAIN IN YOUR LOCKED VEHICLE
## You will have time to return to your vehicle before interacting.
## We do not have space in the gift shop for personal items.

###### INTERACTION GUILDLINES
###### Please read the guidelines for entering the enclosures as part of an interaction.
###### This will determine if you are able to interact or not. NO EXCEPTIONS!
###### We reserve the right to deny access to an interaction or an enclosure due to the refusal to abide by the below guidelines.
To interact with the wolves you must be able-bodied, willing and able to obey any and all safety instructions given by staff.
You must wear long pants, a t-shirt or hoodie, & closed toed shoes.
The following clothing items are not allowed in the enclosures
SHORT SHORTS
SANDALS/FLIP FLOPS/OPEN TOED SHOES
TANK TOPS/LOWCUT SHIRTS ( FOR WOMEN ONLY)
FLEECE PANTS
JEWELRY
SUNGLASSES
ANYTHING THE WOLVES COULD TAKE FROM YOU SUCH AS
BALL CAPS, E-CIGARETTES, HIP BAGS, OR OTHER ITEMS IN YOUR POCKETS
We recommend old clothing as clothes may get dirty or torn since the wolves are likely to jump up on people and some may grab at clothing.
Please be sure to read the disclaimer form
We will ask you to sign this before entering the enclosure.
Wolf Creek Habitat and our staff are not responsible for loss or damage done to cell phones, eye-wear, etc, or any injuries which may be inflicted by any of the animals.
Please understand that there are times that we may be short volunteers, and this makes it hard for the amount of time you can interact with the wolves.
We usually know when the wolves are done with us, and we will make our exit.
Please remember we do this all day, in the heat and when it's cold. With that in mind we will make the call on how long we interact or if we even allow interacting.
The heat & humidity seems to be the worst,
and even though they are good down to 40 below... we are not!!!
Thank you in advance for understanding!
Please do not bring pets with you to Wolf Creek. Pets are not allowed on property and we don't want you leaving them in your cars,
Thank you in advance for understanding.Wolf Creek Habitat and Rescue

LET'S DO STUFF! Michael Jackson Biopic
Cinemark, 4489 Glengarry Dr, Beavercreek, OH, USLET'S GET TOGETHER AND DO STUFF!
Let's go see the new movie biopic about Michael Jackson.
Michael is being played by his very own nephew, Jafaar Jackson, and from the previews it looks like he has nailed it!
Jafaar is Jermaine Jacksons son... and of course Jermaine is Michaels brother!
Jafaar has never acted before and was on a path to become a golfer. It's taken him 2 years of intense training to get to this level of acting.
see link

Meet me in the lobby at about 4:30.
